A friend was telling me the other day about this amazing worship team - Jesus Culture - out of Redding, CA. So I checked 'em out on YouTube. He's right. Here's the the Jesus Culture website. (Thanks for the tip, Bo.)

Nicol, I heard you have a new baby girl. Congratulations! So, so happy for you all. May the Lord fill your lives with light and joy and great comfort.
I still remember Luke, and I still pray for you all, and most probably I always will. Take care.

You all have been on my heart the past few days (mostly in the wee hours of the morning, for some reason), so I've been praying for you. Hope all is well. Take care, and God bless you both and your ministry.

This quote came from your blog from over several years ago. I sent it to a friend who has kept it on her wall at work. She just emailed it to me as a reminder and I thought maybe your family could use the reminder again too...in your own words.
"May the Lord Jesus strengthen and encourage you, may He make His face shine upon you, may the peace and joy of Christ comfort you in every way, may you know Him and experience His goodness in brand new ways in the year ahead, and may you embrace His plan for your life like never before. Amen and Amen."

Wow ~ I'm sitting here with my mouth dropped open. God is so good to us (me). When I saw this link with the name of the song, I smiled. My 3 yr old needed to have a dental procedure done at Children's Hospital and had to be put under. I expected to be nervous and sad and scared, but the morning of, I awoke with this song on my mind ALL DAY LONG. God just would not let me forget, He loves me, He truly loves me. I had peace and unexplainable joy that day. While my baby did just fine and all was well, I knew God was in control, there was something more that I don't know and haven't figured out yet. But there was something going on that day....God fought the battle for me. So wanting to share that with you, I thought I would see when you posted that. Of course Lord, of course. I took Dec. 3 off from work to take Owen to the hospital, why do I seem surprised at how involved God is in my life. Thank you Jesus and thank you for your obedience to remind me again of your unfailing love for me. In God's Love, sheila
